Job Description
Lead result validation and clinical sign-off for molecular biology and genetic testing, overseeing test interpretation and mentoring junior staff across complex and specialized assays
Key Responsibilities
- Authorize and interpret complex molecular and genetic test results
- Lead clinical correlation for escalated cases
- Mentor junior pathologists and molecular biologists
- Represent the lab in physician consultations
- Contribute to molecular test menu development and validation
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree with postgraduate specialization in molecular pathology, genetics, or related field; , .
- 6-10 years of experience including molecular diagnostics and a supervisory or senior capacity
Required License
- Active Ministry of Health medical license
- Molecular pathology/genetics specialization certificate
